Esbilac 2nd Step

Esbilac 2nd Step™ – Puppy Weaning Food (4-8 Weeks) – Smooth Transition from Milk to Solid Food

Help your growing puppy make a healthy transition from nursing or milk replacer to solid food with Esbilac 2nd Step. This specially formulated, easy-to-use powder is crafted for puppies aged approximately 4 to 8 weeks and supports digestive health, growth and vitality.

Key Benefits:

• Creamy transitional cereal formulated to follow mother’s milk or previous milk replacer and move into solid feeding.

• Contains natural milk protein and beef-derived nutrients, with vitamins and minerals to support optimum development.

• Highly digestible for young puppies, making feeding easier and more comfortable during weaning.

• Convenient powder that doesn’t require refrigeration (while unopened/unused) and can be mixed easily for serving.

How to Use:

1. Puppies ready to lap from a bowl (typically 4-5 weeks old) may begin using Esbilac 2nd Step.

2. Mix the powder into warm water or previous milk replacer at the ratio suggested: start as a thin gruel (3 parts liquid to 1 part powder) and gradually decrease liquid so the texture becomes more “oatmeal-like” as the puppy grows. DoMyOwn.com

3. Remove uneaten portions within about 20 minutes; feed approximately 3 times per day (or as recommended) until the puppy is around 7–8 weeks old and ready for full puppy/solid food. Drugs.com

4. Always ensure fresh clean water is available.

Ideal For:

• Puppies being weaned and moving off mother’s milk or milk-replacer.

• Breeders, pet-shops or home breeders who need a reliable weaning food that bridges milk to solid meals.

• Puppies with developing systems that benefit from easy-digest nutrition during the important early growth phase.

Important Notes & Tips:

• This is a weaning food, not meant as a sole adult diet. It is formulated to support the transition phase up to about 7-8 weeks of age.

• Store the product in a cool, dry place and keep the container sealed after use. Once reconstituted, do not feed more than the puppy will consume and discard any leftovers after the recommended time. Amazon

• For specific feeding amounts and individual puppy needs (based on breed size, health status, etc.), consult the label or your veterinarian.
